Atlantic Musician is a Web site design and hosting service catering exclusively to the Atlantic Canadian music industry. We construct, implement, and maintain custom commercial Internet sites for both amateurs and professionals in an attempt to promote Atlantic Canadian music.  Our own Web site (this one) features an Web directory of the music sites we host as well as related sites that we have exchanged links with.

The design service we offer covers a wide range of material including stand alone Web site construction and custom graphics work.  We cater to amateurs and professionals of all musical genres, paying close attention to their individual needs and preferences.

Our hosting service is billed annually and is offered exclusively to musicians, musical groups, and music businesses based in the Atlantic Canadian provinces.  Atlantic Musician clients receive:

  • Full hosting services for their site including personalized control panel access.
  • Better exposure to the Web than being listed solely on your own.
  • Automatic URL notification to popular World Wide Web search engines.

Our services are provided using our own on-site equipment including:

  • Dedicated Windows®-based Compaq Proliant WWW server running IIS
  • Dedicated Windows®-based Compaq Proliant DNS server(s) running Bind 9
  • Dedicated Windows®-based Compaq Proliant Mail server running hMailServer, SquirrelMail & ASSP
  • All servers have hardware-based RAID for redundancy and dedicated hardware-based firewalls for protection
  • Entire server system is powered by a Philtek® UPS w/ 12+ hours reserve time
